What is needed to become a Referral Agent with Statewide Referral Agency, Inc.

 

Transferring an Active License:

We will need your original license signed by you and your terminating broker(complete sections 1 & 2), and a check. If check is received between April 1st and December 31st it should be for $100.00.  If check is received between January 1st and March 31st it should be for $75.00. 

 

If your former broker has terminated the license through the online system, please tell us.  In that case, we do not need the license but instead REC form 002 needs to be completed.  If the license was not renewed during the current license term than follow the Reinstatement directions below.

 

What is the New Jersey Real Estate Commission Fee for active salespeople to transfer their license:

If you paid the last renewal fee for the Real Estate Commission (REC)then the amount needed is $25.00 for both a Salesperson and Broker Salesperson.

If you did not pay the last REC renewal fee and it is less than two years ago the REC fee for Salespeople is $150.00 and for a Broker Salespeople $250.00.

For those salespeople that don’t know if they renewed during the last REC period they will have to telephone the Real Estate Commission at 609-292-7272.

In addition to the REC fee the amount you need to pay Statewide Referral Agency, Inc is $75.00 between April 1st and December 31st & $50.00 between January 1st and March 31st.  

 

NOTE: Each license term is renewed every other year. (ie: 2009, 2011, 2013 etc)


Reinstatement:

If you do not have your license, please complete the enclosed REC 002 reinstatement form, the signed agreement and with a check for the below fees.

•  Reinstatement Fee for Salespeople is $225.00 if received between April 1st and December 31st and a prorated amount of $200.00 if received between January 1st and March 31st.  This amount will pay for the REC fee and Statewide’s annual fee.  

•  Reinstatement Fee for Broker/Salesperson is $325.00 if received between April 1st and December 31st and a prorated amount of $300.00 if received between January 1st and March 31st.  This amount will pay for the REC fee and Statewide’s annual fee.

 

 

Recently passed New Jersey Real Estate Commission exam:

Supply us with the Pass Notice and Fingerprinting confirmations with receipt attached. The amount you need to pay is $235.00 between April 1st and December 31st  $210.00 between January 1st and March 31st  This amount will pay for the REC fee and Statewide’s annual fee.

 

NJTAXRECORDS.COM:

If you want to be a NJTAXRECORDS.COM user add $53.50(Includes Sales Tax) to your payment and supply us your email address.  This annual fee is not prorated and expires each June.

 

All checks shall be made payable to Statewide Referral Agency

 

All active salespeople with Statewide will be billed each April to pay the annual fee & every other year for both Statewide & REC fees. Those that select an invoice emailed to them will pay $75.00.  Those that Statewide mails an invoice will pay $85.00.
